AGENDA

Answer all those challenging planning and implementation questions.

SUNDAY - 1/29/17

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

PRE-CONFERENCE DINNER*

Ease into the fast-paced and knowledge-packed workshop with a relaxing but elegant three course dinner (complete with wine pairing) the night before. This is a great opportunity to socialize and network with your peers and our industry experts in a more casual setting where organic conversations can easily flow and help inform new perspectives over the next two days.

Space is limited to 50 attendees.
*Additional cost of $80 per person applies.

MONDAY - 1/30/17

7:00 AM - 8:30 AM

CHECK IN/REGISTRATION

If you haven’t already picked up your registration packet the night before, we’ll be available during breakfast to assist and answer any other questions.

8:30 AM - 10:00 AM

SESSION 1: REGIONAL ANALYSIS

The conference opens by focusing on the importance of regional analysis as the foundation for your international student recruitment journey. The session will focus on helpful data specific to a variety of markets and cultures. Walk out with a clearer understanding of how messaging tailored specifically to regional audiences will engage your prospective students.

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM

BREAK

Wake up! It’s time for more caffeine (and some snacks) to keep you energized for the next session.

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

SESSION 2: TECH TOOLS

Our tech gurus dive deep into a variety of tools and resources your institution could and should be using. They explain and compare features and offer insights on best practices. This stuff can be complicated. Presenters from the tech industry will break it down for you.

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

LUNCH

You’ll have the opportunity to digest the last 2 hours of information while you ingest a satisfying meal. This is a chance to get to know your fellow colleagues better and have lively discussions about the workshop material presented so far. We encourage you to socialize and learn from others.

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

SESSION 3: GROUND GAME

It can be a jungle out there (sometimes literally). The well-traveled panelists for this session offer best practices and resources obtained from years of experience attending a variety of college fairs and working with partners around the world.

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM

BREAK

Time for more caffeine and snacks.

3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

SESSION 4: MEASURING SUCCESS

By now you have a deeper understanding of the processes, practices and data you should be employing to drive your international recruitment goals. All of that has limited value if you don’t know how to measure the return on your investments. Marketing analytics help you know which investments worked so you can focus your budget on campaigns that drive results. A panel of experts will help you wade through what the numbers mean and why they’re important. You’ll leave this session with the ability to confidently convince key decision makers to support your strategic vision.

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

NETWORKING COCKTAIL RECEPTION

After a short break to freshen up and stretch your legs, join your colleagues for a complimentary cocktail reception under the beautiful San Diego sky. After that full day, you deserve a glass of wine and some tasty hors d’oeuvres. This is yet another opportunity to really interact with other colleagues and get more face time with our expert panelists in a relaxed environment.

TUESDAY - 1/31/17

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

BREAKFAST

Get ready to tackle the final day with another satisfying breakfast.

Reminder: Today’s itinerary is a little different. The day belongs to you. Where do you want to focus? What do you want to learn? You have the option to select 2 of the four topics discussed yesterday for a more advanced focus. We will have plenty of time for interaction with each other in each session. Share your specific challenges and get the feedback that will help move you forward.
